Week 1: 3D SCULPTURE: Self Space Place
Week 1: So for the first week in our 3D SCULPTURE: Self Space Place, we were tasked with crafting ten sketches of any kind to get into the mindset of thinking of the self, space, place, and how to utilize all three in our future endeavors in our class. For these pieces, I was thinking about how these shapes would utilize the space around and how it would it affect the self and its place. For Craft, I utilized basic sketching paper and a mechanical pencil. I did this because it would appear clearly on the scanner. If it is to be useful for me in the future, it has to be functional. I worked in a spontaneous workflow with little direction in the way of planned out execution. Some designs worked while others obviously failed. I worked in two rows of three for a clear display of the sketches.
